ReplyDeleteWe LOVE SEDONA. I need to tell you about our favorite swim place to take the kids. Maybe Mike already knows about it, but it is great for the little ones- and it is not slide rock. I think it is called crescent moon recreation area. The water just flows over the red rocks and the kids can wade or sit on dry rock and dip their hands in the water. Maybe Stella will fish up some river slime and try to eat it like my kids did at her age!! So much fun! And beautiful. You can see Cathedral rock from there and take beautiful pictures. I think that it is near a "vortex" because we often see people meditating there or doing things with their special rocks. Once we saw a family with their nude child walking around.. and it was not an infant-she was at least 7 or 8 and it was really really weird. But that was a one time thing. Usually it is just beautiful and the new age people are to be expected.

ReplyDeleteMy hubby and I got away also this weekend. It was OC Maryland, def not Sedona but great to be without child. Mine didn't even notice we were gone. Thanks to Mom-Mom and Pappy!
