It is conveniently located in our Arizona room, right off the kitchen, and next to the kids' new drawing table.
While the kids color and "fix" their bikes, I read.
So if you are in our neighborhood, stop on by!
I will make you some deliciously dark hot chocolate and let you sit in my chair.
Just make sure you come before summer.
My favorite corner will become a furnace in the summertime heat.
But at least it will always look pretty.

ReplyDeleteIn our last stake conference, our stake president encouraged us to find our own "mountain" (i.e. Moses went to the mountain to pray) where we can relax, meditate, and pray. I haven't found one yet... that looks like a great place for you, though! Great job on the upholstery!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, has Nana seen this? She's going to have a fit.
ReplyDeleteok, i can see it now, and it's absolutely gorgeous. you make me feel just a teeny bit inadequate, steph. :)

ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! I can't wait to come see your house. I am so glad you HAVE a house to make your own. what fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the new look! That chair spent 25 years at our house in blue plaid. It's about time for a do-over.
ReplyDeleteI love you chair. The blue plaid was probably just fine but the toile is perfect. You are so talented and such an inspiration you are to young mothers.
ReplyDeleteLove you much

SO cool. When we were redoing the house we had, for a time, one of our armchairs in the dining room (which STILL doesn't have a dining table in it) and it was so nice. It had such lovely light. That's what this reminds me of.
ReplyDeletesometimes, when stephanie is away, I'll sneak off to the chair, turn up some Josh Groban and just melt away.
ReplyDeletemy husband is funny.
ReplyDeleteStephanie, you are incredibly talented... oh how I wish I could do the things you do... I ended up buying my curtains, not making them... and now this!! :-) You're extremely talented. Darling chair!
