Christmas cards

Do you send Christmas cards? Receiving cards in the mail is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. We've been sending them every year since we've been married, I think. But I was really tempted to skip it this year. I just didn't feel like I had it in me. Then I found some sweet cards here, added an instagram snap of my family on the back, and placed my order. It was quick and easy and painless, just how it should be. And now I can go back to laying on the couch with my knitting and a good movie. :)

  1. Very pretty.
I did send cards for 37 years of my life (since I was a young teenager) but for the first time ever - this year - I quit sending. I just wasn't feeling it and it was one of my stressor items because I would always send them all out super early and then wait and wait... cards would barely trickle in and it would make me upset instead of happy, so this tradition is done (at least for this year) and I have no regrets about stopping it. I've said that I'll reassess how I feel next year... I've never done the online click and send version but our niece does that. I don't know... for me, it was always write them all out by hand and add my personal handwriting which felt special to me.

  2. You always have such cute Christmas cards. My favorite is still the postcard you did with your family out in the desert. I think about that one every time we start figuring ours out. :)
