day eight: fancy and casual
I've only ever worn this skirt to church. Does that make it fancy? I thought that pairing it with a plain tee and flip flops would dress it down quite a bit. I used to wear flip flops all of the time. Then I realized that no one needs to see so much of my feet, so I save them for trips to the pool or the mail box. But you know what? It's still hovering near 90 in my house today, so flip flops will do.

What a cute skirt! I love all the vintage-looking lace (lace? crocheted thingy? :P)

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! Pretty and feminine but comfy and cool too.
ReplyDeleteI spent some time on my lunch hour reading your older posts. I now want to make every recipe you shared and have four kids of my own. ;-) Seriously, you have such a sweet family! And your kitchen turned out beautifully. Thanks for sharing!
i love your style!
ReplyDeletesuper cute! I love putting a solid t-shirt with "fancy" bottoms and then cute-but-casual shoes. Then you're not over- or under-dressed for whatever the day may bring.
ReplyDeleteAnd the ribbon belt is always a winner.
Do you need a new A/C or just a repair? It's probably too late to refer someone to you, but we really liked the company that installed ours (last August - I know just how you feel)
