Mike thinks it's kind of silly that I wanted our pantry to look pretty. I'm wondering why it took me so long to get to it! I rounded up some baskets, which meant cleaning out my closet again. (I really have no clothes left now.) I wanted things contained. And organized. And bright. And clean. I've been leaving the door open just so I can peek at those shelves when I walk by.

Looks lovely! I just cleaned out my pantry today too! Every spring when I reorganize, I think I've found the very best place for everything... then somehow I find a better place the next year.
I also reorganized some kitchen cabinets. Some things have now been moved three times in less than three years. My poor husband.
Oh! I have never seen a prettier pantry.

oh stephanie. once i am allowed to really move into my house I will have a pretty pantry too. I love to just look at clean, organized spaces. I just got word today that my carpet will be delayed another week. It was supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Now it will be 2 weeks from tomorrow. For now all of our stuff is haphazardly thrown in the shop and garage. After all, it was just supposed to be stored there for a week. I have begun organizing our short term storage. It is killing me to look at.

Wow. It's absolutely gorgeous. Please tell me you have another pantry with all the food in it. Mine could never look like this! But I'm happy to have full cupboards-That means we have plenty of food to eat! :) Thanks for the inspiration!

gina, ha! most of our food (and food storage) is on the shelves to the right. we are very lucky to have such a large pantry. trust me, we are not starving. :)
wow. I am jealous! I like things to be neat and clean too. Being in the army and moving every 2 to 3 years, I have learned to LOVE baskets.
