take two, or the housedress redefined

I'm not going to show you what I wore around the house yesterday. Let me just say that it was neither cute nor flattering. I think the Portfolio tunic is a much better option. I made mine from a soft pink linen blend (I used the same fabric for a maternity tunic here.) It's kind of stretchy and crinkly and I just love the way it feels.

I don't know if the pattern makers had a modern housedress in mind when they designed this pattern, but that's what it says to me and I sure do love it. The good news is that I no longer have to be embarrassed to step outside and get the mail. :)

It's really cute. And so is that little kid. :)

That top is cute. I was thinking it looked very retro (in a good way!), and your definition of a modern housedress is perfect.

It looks very spring-like. But you still can't nurse in it.

I love this- I would probably make it in a darker color, though :)

You're a genius, Steph. I'm sorry Stella was sick; that sounds like it was scary. I'm so glad she's better. Love to you and the kiddos.
