Awww, that is so fun. And scary. I'm not looking forward to having to keep things out of Henry's reach.

Great gate-leave it to you to come up with something very creative and nice to look at.
Of course this is the cutest picture of the cutest baby boy. Love his expression.

love the gate cover! please tell us (me) how you did it, is it a normal wooden lattice gate?

thank you for your nice comments on my baby gate. i wasn't expecting that. :) it is an old thing that i inherited from my brother when oliver was a baby. my brother had been using it outside, so the original fabric was very faded and falling apart (and purple, if i remember correctly). so i replaced it with a more durable fabric that i had left over from something else. now that i think about it, i should have used something a little prettier. oh well.

p.s. it's not the wooden lattice kind. it was always meant to have fabric in the middle.

Do you happen to know the brand of gate. It looks exactly like what I'm looking for... Of course, if it is old they may not make it anymore?

hi leah

i'm not sure of the brand, but i did a quick search on amazon and found this gate:
http://www.amazon.com/Safety-1st-Doorways-Fabric-Natural/dp/B0032FOOQ6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1295224519&sr=8-1

and this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Evenflo-Crosstown-Soft-Portable-Travel/dp/B001H0GF2O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1295224519&sr=8-2

they seem pretty similar to mine.

good luck!
