a resolution

This year, I am letting some things go. Instead of rushing around during Elliot's nap to get housework done this morning, I am letting my laundry sit unfolded so I can play princess play-doh with Stella. I'll get to the laundry sometime, but Stella will come first.

We both feel really good about it.

What a wonderful resolution. I'm sure Stella is happy!

Can Sophie come play too? I've outlawed (again!) play-doh. I hate that stuff! :-)

I love that, Stephanie! I'm going to try to do more of that too.

I am a total lurker. I think I started reading you from a link from CJane or NieNie. Anyway, can I just say that Stella is seriously the cutest thing I've ever seen? That smile she gives where you're pretty sure she's up to something just kills me. She is such a doll!

Love it. And the picture too; I love the "eye level" perspective :)

And she will always remember it. :)

Aw, looks like she's having a lovely time. Playing is far more important than laundry.

I love her smile...it's like she has this great secret.

I made the same goal. Today we colored ourselves with washable markers. Probably will not be doing that particular activity again...

And by playing play-doh with her you have kept track of it so it can't end up in the rug...

I love your Stella. Her little grin makes me smile every time I see her.

what a fun mom you are. good for you. i have a hard time "letting" those other things go too and forgetting about the little kids.

This soo struck a chord with me. I have two little ones 14 months apart and find myself running about madly trying to finish chores when one or the other is asleep as well. I am going to take a leaf out of your book and spend that quality time with the other child.

Thanks for reminding me I am a Mother, not a Cleaner.
