Mabel, new and improved

She can see!

It turns out that she couldn't before. She is completely near sighted. Poor thing. We had no idea. Were we surprised when she chose the pink glasses? Nope. I think she looks darling (and suddenly so mature!) in them. She was a happy girl walking to school this morning.

  1. Lucky Mabel! I've wanted glasses since I was ten and now that I'm old(er) I get to use the drug store readers. Some day...

  2. Cute. I never thought that she would have needed glasses. She was ALWAYS reading books when she came over to our place. I hope my kids will always read!
Oh, and Nate wants to know about the yogurt shop. Where is it? And when did you open it?

  4. Super cute! And what is up with all these cousins needing glasses? Ethan is now borderline for them... his eye doctor thinks it will be a couple of years and then he will have to wear them too.

  5. She looks adorable. Love the pink ons and of course she would choose pink. Tell her GGrammy had to get new glasses yesterday and guess I will need to wear the all of the time which I have not done before. I was in the 4th grade when they said that I should wear them but stubborn me I didn't!! So now I will.
    Love you

I have a picture, just like this, of my Korinne. Turns out she couldn't see either. We've already had to go back for stronger lenses (after 10 months of wear), turns out, children should have their eyes checked every 6 months. Now, we can't imagine Rin without her glasses.
    BTW...LOVE the red!
