Major bummer about the water heater. But yay for rain! And I told Elliott that with the price of OJ rising, I'm extra jealous of your citrus trees right now!
At our house it's the car...ALWAYS the car!! The brakes three time n the last three years (it's a conspiracy!) and now the struts. I blow raspberries at folks who cannot make a car that doesn't wear out so quickly!
Oh I forgot-have you priced an inline water heater. They cost a bit more but last a lot longer and you have hot water all of the time instantly and it saves water. Some of our friends puit them in and they love them. Price them out and compare prices. Just a thought!
Oh dear...The water heater has gone to water heater heaven...Hope you get the flooring you want soon...Oh you look so cute with your sweet little baby bump...
You're adorable. I know how you feel about the water heater ... ours exploded (literally) and I discovered it moments before my water broke with our first baby. Quite ironic. :) Love your blog.
Oh, I feel you pain! I once spent new furniture money on a new shower surround after the glass door shattered. You need someone line the guy in our ward who hooked us up with a scratch and dent water heater. It cost me less than $100 bucks and a homemade cheesecake. I love figuring out who I can barter with on stuff like this. And WHO CARES if the water heater is a scratch and dent? It's a water heater in the garage for crying out loud!
