Don't tell Target,

but sometimes I shop at Kmart. What can I say? I like the Martha Stewart Everyday collection. So, whilst wandering the aisles of my local Kmart this morning, I found two things that I just had to have:

a. a cookie jar

I am a total sucker for any sort of household item that is dark red. It's my favorite decor color and is featured in nearly every room of my home. I may or may not have made it a goal to always have freshly baked cookies in this darling jar. It is currently filled with these, except that I put some coconut in them. Yum. (Just FYI this is not a MSE item.)

b. a shower curtain

Our old one was S-I-C-K (and not the good, hip kind of sick). I have a very tiny bathroom and this curtain is kind of loud. But, it makes me smile.

  4. Great items! I love the black & white with that green wall. Your house is just so cute. They closed the Kmart closest to us & I was never loyal enough to seek out the next closest one. But now I just might have to. And then make some cookies.

  7. You and I would have made good roommates cuz I would have cooked and you could have cleaned up the mess!

I'm gonna make your cookies tonight. I need a chocolate fix and the oatmeal makes me feel less guilty. :)

  8. Wish we still had a k mart here because I really like that cookie jar. I broke mine and so have been looking for a new one. Love your house and the colors you use. The "loud" shower curtain is great.

  10. That is the perfect shower curtain for a small space. Small spaces need either color or big bold patterns, I say. :)

  12. I love Damask stuff, that's what your shower curtain reminds me of. I saw the cutest black and silver damask kitchen chair cushions at Ross... if they'd had more than four I would've snatched them up!

  14. Might have to go get one of those cookie jars (red is my kitchen accent color). I also love KMart brand diapers- I go there just for that, but not for long since the closest KMart to me sold out to Wal-Mart and is just renting back until Wal-Mart takes over.
