Family Night

We watched Mike play Super Mario Galaxy.
(Don't worry, we had a lesson on trying to be like Jesus, too.)

What did you do?

  3. We usually have FHE while we are eating dinner (I eat first so I can do the lesson). That's the only way I can keep everyone together and paying attention! Last night it hd to be on the bed and you can imagine how much paying attention there was and how much bouncing, throwing pillows, etc. Whatever works =)

  5. My kids were playing puzzles, so I made everyone stop and read 2 Nephi 2:25 on joy. My kids said that finishing the puzzles would bring them joy. That's it.

    At least I am trying.

  6. That's such a cute picture. You're good for having an "activity" along with the lesson.
I just got called to be the primary chorister, so our lesson was based on the song for March. I wanted to test out my visual aids on my kids to see if they were any good. We talked about being like Jesus, and my kindergartner kept saying that it was "just going to be too hard" to try to act more Christlike. Nice.
