Mabel's elementary school is exactly one block from our house.
So we decided to walk her to school today.
Here's the thing: Her school starts at 12:10.
Do you know how hot it is at that time?
It's really hot.
It was a bad idea.
Mabel and Oliver were bright red and dripping in sweat by the time we arrived.
We have now decided that we will be driving until October when it starts to cool off.

yuck! i hate that it is too hot to walk one block! oh well, you'll be able to walk all winter since there isn't snow. she looks so cute! love the shoes and back pack....did you do ok?

ReplyDeleteWow, I didn't realize all these bloggers would notice her shoes. She does pull them off nicely. I'm hoping that once it gets colder she'll wear them with jeans... its a stretch, I know.
