Good Morning

This afternoon I was having a creativity crisis that only a trip to the fabric store could cure. So as soon as Mike walked in the door from work, I left the kids in his capable hands and spent the next hour perusing the aisles of our local JoAnn's. While I was gone, the kids watched Sesame Street (which we tivo everyday and usually watch the next morning). Mike isn't sure what happened, but when Sesame Street was all done, Mabel was convinced that it was morning (It was really about 5:45 pm). We think she must have dozed off for a few minutes while she was watching and woke up seriously confused. Intead of wanting dinner, she requested her daily breakfast of cinnamon oatmeal, which she had already had once this morning. I don't know how we are going to get her to go to bed. Bedtime is in half an hour. This is going to feel like one very short day to one very short little girl.

  2. that's so funny, and you know you can't tell them they're wrong! they won't believe you! funny thing is, I remember our older siblings trying to convince us that we were adopted and that the police were coming over to pick us up. i WISH they had told us we slept too long!

  3. I remember that happening to me in (okay this is almost embarassing to admit) junior high school! I went to year round school so it was in the summer and I woke up just before 8:00pm, I though I was going to be late getting to class! Oh yes, speaking of kids waking up early. My dear Hannah has been waking up at 7:15am all week, too early in my book since Ali has been sleeping till 8:00, but this am she woke up at 6:00!! Yes, out to the couch it was for me to finish my dreaming to sounds of Caillou.
(PS... I'd love to see a photo of your wedding dress...)
