The Heat

"What dreadful hot weather we have!
It keeps me in a continual state of inelegance."

  2. i've taken "inelegance" to a whole new level. my belly is quite large AND it's a million degrees. sigh. and to think, poor jane austen spent her whole life in england, where they don't even know what heat is.

  3. In AZ we reserve elegance for October-March. It makes your elegant moments that much more memorable! :)

  4. yes we girls who live south of the Mason-Dixon line sure do know what heat is. I remember my mom talking about how southern women always take two baths a day - if I had my way, it would be three. But, I must disagree with Leslie - if I could choose who I could look like when 30 weeks along, it would be Leslie - she looks fab. Ya, those poor English women who think they know what heat is...although I do remember that waiting for London's Central line in August WAS pretty steamy.
