Dear Arizona, I love you, but not for long.

Can we talk about how nice it is in Arizona right now? Oh man, the orange blossoms are killing it. Our entire neighborhood smells like heaven. If you've ever wanted to visit, now is the time. It's hard to believe that it's still winter somewhere, because spring has sprung for sure in our neck of the woods.

The other night, our neighborhood had it's annual block party. Our neighbors set up tables and chairs in the street and grilled burgers and hot dogs. The kids jumped on a big inflatable slide, and ran around barefoot until way past their bedtime. We are so lucky to live here.

I have to write this stuff down so that come July, when I want to die from the heat, I will remember that sometimes, Arizona is the best place in the world to be.

  2. I saw the title of this post and thought maybe you were moving away from Arizona. Phew, you're not.
I have been loving this perfect weather too. I just can't seem to get enough of it. And the blossoms. Oh, they smell so incredible.
P.S. Cute picture of you and Stella.

  3. Sounds inviting and yet I really do love the true change of seasons that we have here in Illinois, where it's not just a subtle change, but a true change - there's nothing like an Illinois autumn or spring - it's breathtaking and I feel like spring is our great reward for surviving yet another long hard winter. : ) I love hot weather as well, and in the middle of a hard winter I've often lamented that I'd like to live some place where it's mild year round, but in truth I know that I would very much miss the true change of seasons that we enjoy.
    Adorable photos!
