summer days in February
It's supposed to be 88 degrees outside tomorrow. 88! I am equal parts excited and scared. 88 degrees in February does not bode well for April. But, 88 degrees means that we can do lots of fun things outside. Like play at the fantastic new Riverview Park here in Mesa. Or jump on the trampoline. Or maybe we'd be better off in an air conditioned theater with the Lego movie. My parents arrive tomorrow, so we have lots of exciting things planned. Including maybe even a night away for me and Mike! (Would that be ok, Mom?)
Sending you lots of love on this Valentine's Day. Have a good weekend, friends.

I have no idea what 88 degrees in February feels like. I live in Illinois, where it's been a very, very long winter. Love your photo and enjoy the warmth for us. ;)
ReplyDeletehello linda. are you cubs fans? the cubs spring training facility is here in mesa, and every year about this time thousands of nice folks from illinois come to soak up our sun. we even have a portillo's! maybe next year?
DeleteHi Stephanie,
ReplyDeleteThat sounds wonderful and we have family in your area who have made the offer to us, but we have to work around daughter's school schedule and she can't miss, so for now, I simply have to dream that warmth exists somewhere :) We are sort-of Cubs fans, but sometimes not, ha, that comes and goes over the years ;) Have a beautiful Valentine's Day!
Linda
I can only dream of 88 degrees! I'm in MA and can't wait for the spring!!
ReplyDeleteLove that beautiful picture-I can feel the warm air in my chilly bones! (That huge unicorn just cracks me up-Abbey would have loved that thing!)
