open windows and the late afternoon light



Now that the weather is finally cooling off, we can open our windows and doors and let the cool breeze blow through the house. It feels just like heaven. I was especially grateful for the pretty light yesterday afternoon. Sometimes a few minutes of good light is all it takes to brighten my mood.

And maybe some Pandora 60s Folk Radio, too.

    Oh sigh! It snowed here today. I really miss those Mesa autumn and winter days. Sunshine everywhere! P.S. Where did you get the fabric for your pillows. I have been searching for some myself!

      hi marianne. i love that you assumed that i made those pillows. actually they are the first throw pillows i have ever purchased and i got them at home goods. i've seen similar $3 rugs at ikea, though, that could totally be turned into pillows!
