a downeast review

A little while ago, DownEast asked me to test out some items from their fall collection. I was happy to oblige! You can find my review (and some pumpkin bread, too) on the DownEast blog here.

Thank you, DownEast Basics!

p.s. I tried really hard to get out of my comfort zone with this outfit (mixed patterns! tucked in shirt!), and I ended up really loving it.

p.p.s. Even if it's still hot where you are (like it is here), make some pumpkin bread this weekend. You won't regret it.

  3. i have a hard time with mixing patterns but when i saw your photo the other day holding the pumpkin can i thought, "stephanie's doing it so maybe i can, too?" you look great in these photos, cute clothes and with your adorables.

  4. You would look good in anything. Stripes and flowers together is different and not sure I can get used to that. You can make that skirt in nothing flat. Used to make them all of the time when I was in high school. So many ways to make them. Doesn't take much material, just have to make them full enough.
    love you

  8. Loved your review! You look so pretty in all the pictures. And you did a good job picking your outfit. I like those patterns together. Why is it that mixing patterns can be so scary? I envy pattern mixers! Great job!

  9. It's funny. I did notice the outfit at the polls and thought...either that's the latest thing or Steph's gone a little nuts....can't say I'd ever dare...but everything looks great on you and you've got the style and confidence to carry it off. Go girl!
