The most important reason for our detour to California was to help celebrate my Grammy's 82nd birthday. I don't get to see my grandparents nearly often enough, so I was happy to spend a few hours with them at my brother's house last Sunday.
My Grammy is probably the most stylish lady I know. She always looks so put together.
And that cake! Oh, my sister-in-law, Katie, outdid herself. It was delicious.
