I'd rather bake than do just about anything else. So yesterday, instead of taking a nap or sewing or cleaning the bathrooms like I should have been doing, I made cookies. I didn't even feel like eating cookies, but the urge to bake was undeniable. The sad news: I tried a new recipe and the cookies were flat (good for stacking and photographing, not so good for eating). The lesson: Once you find a chocolate chip cookie recipe that you love, stick with it. I should have made these instead.

ReplyDeleteI love my chocolate chip cookie recipe. It's one of those where the cookies taste even better the next day. And it's super simple if you're interested. Maybe I'll just sign up for dessert next Sunday and bring them then.
ReplyDeleteYes! I love your Chocolate Cookie recipe (from your other post). It has been my go to recipe ever since I found it on your blog. My brother usually isn't a fan of Chocolate Chip Cookies, but when he tried one of them he said, "have mercy!" The sweet & salty thing they have going on is amazing!
