I never thought I was a car person.

But then the other day I found myself taking the long way to the grocery store just so I could drive my Wagoneer a little bit more. (The grocery store is only a quarter of a mile from my house, so I had to be creative.) The thrill hasn't worn off yet. I know it is just a car, but it really does make me happy every time I see it. And is it crazy that it motivates me to get dressed in the morning? This car just deserves better than sloppy pajamas or mom sweats.

I'd love to hear what your dream car is. Are you lucky enough to drive it?

  1. I was JUST telling my husband the other day how much I wanted a Wagoneer!! Hopefully, I will be driving one too, sooner than later:)

  2. Oh, you are driving my dream car! My husband teases me about it (lovingly of course), but I don't care. I can picture myself in that adorable car!
BTW...I am really loving your pictures you've posted lately!

  5. Believe it or not my daddy drove two different Wagoneers while I was growing up. I have a soft spot for them but I've always had a thing for the Volvo V70 XC. The early nineties edition.

p.s. The wood paneling on your Wagoneer always reminds me of the one from Baby Boom with Diane Keaton.

  6. I love your car!
We see a lot of them where we live..
we live on the beach and I just love my Land Rover. We drive it right on the beach and park. No lugging beach toys, chairs for us. :)

  8. A bright yellow Wagoneer was our family car growing up. Great memories of my Mom. My husband and I want a convertible "Thing" for our dream beach house some day.

  13. We had a wagoneer when we were first married. We had to sell it after a few years to help my husband get through school (which was so worth it), but I still do love those cars!!!

  17. Right now any car bigger than a two-door coupe would do for me. It isn't easy getting my two littles in the backseat. I hope for a mini-van really soon.

  18. I had a yellow Wagoneer once upon a time. Loved it. I do not care much what a car looks like but I so care that it is reliable. You have such a fun blog.

  19. YOU are driving my dream car. Yep.

And if not a classic, I'd love an 06-'08 Pilot or pre-2008 MDX.

Nope, so not driving my dream car. Never have. I drive a 14 year old Avalon. Reliable but boring.

  20. my favorite is the red porsche from "sixteen candles." it'd be even better if it came with jake ryan.
a few years ago my husband actually bought that model of porsche, but burgundy in color. bad news is i can't drive it because it's a stick.

  21. A dream car, huh? Well, one of those classic cars would be pretty fun to drive, you know, those that you have work on to restore them to their best state. The investment in time and effort would sweeten the style of the car itself.
