sewing

When I was about 10, my mother sent me to sewing classes at our local fabric store. I am so glad that she did! I love seeing the possibility in a bolt of pretty fabric. Or creating something special from nothing, or mending something that is broken. I am thankful to have a skill that I really enjoy doing, and a teeny little space to call my own.

  1. I love your teeny tiny space! My bernina is sitting in a closet, because that is the only place for it. I wish I could have it out all of the time. Enjoy!

  3. It's a terrific spot. Much better than a large dining room table which means you have to move your sewing every day! And no bright sun in your eyes.
Wouldn't it be nice if families would take a day or two off from eating. :)
