We live in Arizona, where it gets really hot in the summertime. I know it gets hot lots of places, but I'm talking about the kind of hot where it's too hot to do anything outside but swim. And we don't have a pool.
So we spend most of our time indoors, reading and playing and drawing. Frequent trips to the library and art classes for Mabel and Oliver are seeing us through.
Less than three weeks til school starts. I think we can make it.

Mabel looks so much like her mommy in this picture. So glad you have air conditioning. Reading and drawing are perfect for hot hot weather!!!
i'm glad to see you are makin it. i'm also glad school starts so soon for all of us.
My youngest started her summer holidays on thursday and it has done nothing but rain .... please send some of your sun our way.
Uggh ... when Doc was looking at a job in AZ I was terrified for exactly this reason..... but I think my son would be in hog heaven being "forced" to read all day. Stay cool!
that is great. i wish it got hot here. i miss that about hawaii. i can't believe school starts so soon.
