I totally wasn't going to, but I caved. I figure it's as good a way as any to while away these blazing hot summer days. And my goodness, there are some pretty things out there on the internet. I had no idea.
Which brings me to my question for today: Is it possible to make my sort of cottage-y (if you squint really hard) 1970's ranch house in the desert look like this? Cuz that would really be swell.

i'm loving all the cottages you're posting. i totally think you could pull this off. grammy might need to come visit to help you, she is wonderful at cottage gardens, making a house look charming, etc! :)

I'm in east Texas. I sweat just getting my mail every afternoon. Pinterest inspires me and passes the time. Love it!
Paint? Because certain areas of Arizona have these rules about how much lawn and shrubs and plants you are allowed to have...due to water restrictions...
