Mike and I have matching running shoes.

Isn't that cute?

Do you run? I started running in January. I had never been a runner before in my life. But you know what? I love it. I can't believe it, but I really do. I meet my running friends on the corner at 5:00, just as the sun is starting to light up the sky now. It is peaceful and cool and so invigorating. It has been good for my body and good for my soul. I could never do it alone, though. I need my running ladies. I love them. We have some excellent early morning discussions.

Do you want to come with us?

  1. I run with my neighbor 3 mornings a week. I love it, too. Makes me a better mom and happier all around.
    Happy running!

  5. I started running in Jan, 2010, 3 months after my first child was born. I was 5'3" and 230lbs. Never ran a day in my life. By that June I was down 30lbs and running my first 10k race! Now I'm at 180lbs, but I'm pregnant again so had to stop running, never thought I would miss it so much!! Yay for running!

  6. I have run off and on for the last few years. I'm currently not running and I miss it terribly. I have high hopes of working out a babysitting swap with my neighbor so we can both run!

  7. Amanda, you can still run while pregnant if you were doing it before. I've done it. Three times.
And stephanie, let me know what days you are going and mileage. When I visit my parents I'd love to join you. I meet a group in Las Sendas, it is a drive, but I know that they will be out there bright and early. It would be nice to meet someone a little closer.

  8. Bah, I wish I still lived over there. I'd be all over that. I'm running nights with a girl in my ward instead (and I'm more of an 8:30pm runner than a 5am runner anyway)

  10. That is cute. You know I really want to run with you guys! But 5am! That's dedication. I'm just going to show up one morning. I just bought some new running shoes and I need to break them in!

  11. Maybe we really should move into your guest room. Then I could have running buddies!

  12. Steph I don't run but 6 days a week I go to Curves and 3 days a week I also do Zumba. Not bad for and 80 year old grammy.

  13. I started running when I was 31 and have continued to do so off + on since then. I love to run with others, but usually fall off the wagon when it is just me.
