pretty
It's prom season.
I can cross one more thing off my pre-baby to-do list. I delivered this little number to a girl in my neighborhood the other day. Her dress needed some alterations, and she wanted a pretty little shrug to go with it.
I would wear this in a heartbeat. If only I had a waist. And I was going to the prom.
I have one more sewing project to do before the baby comes. Then I am officially retiring my sewing machine for a few months so I can sit and stare at him all day long.

This is so beautiful. I couldn't be trusted in a dress that looked so fresh and white though. There'd be pasta sauce/chocolate/red wine or something like that down it in no time!
ReplyDeleteCan I ask what pattern you used for the shrug?? My best friend has asked me to wear a strapless dress for her wedding in September...not gonna work, so I have been looking for a good shrug pattern.
ReplyDeletethat's really pretty. i'm sure she loved it. miss you!
ReplyDeletehi katie
ReplyDeletei didn't use a pattern. sorry! it was just a design that the girl and i came up with together.
i know a good shrug pattern is hard to find. good luck!
It's lovely! I'd like to see it on your friend. I'll bet she will look so darling!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! I can't wait until my sewing skills are that good so that I can whip something up per my designs! I'll be taking a beginning sewing class this summer - I'm sew excited! :D
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteIt is so hard to find cute, modest cover-ups for strapless dresses.
Happy Staring!
