Because of the ruching on the sides, I think it might even camouflage my lumpy postpartum tummy, too. It doesn't get much better than that, does it?
I think we all need this shirt.
So let's give one away! Here are the details:
Leave a comment on this post. Tell me something fun, like how you found my blog or what your favorite Shade item is. Do this before Saturday, and you could be the lucky winner! I'll post the results first thing Monday morning.
Good luck!
**This giveaway is now closed. Stay tuned for the winner on Monday!**
I found your blog by googling how to hem jeans while preserving the original hem. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI can't even remember how I found your blog, but I have followed it for about a year now. (And am just now commenting!) Just wanted to say that you are a beautiful pregnant gal and I hope that all goes well with your pregnancy. I just had a baby 3 weeks ago (already!) and do NOT miss the pregnancy part AT ALL. But I do so love the newborn stage. May this birth be memorable and beautiful for you.
ReplyDeleteI have no Shade clothing so I'll tell you something fun. It's going to be 85 degrees in Boston today!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog from Melissa White's. But you knew that already. Hm...something fun to tell you. Ok. Here's a fun tidbit. There's a part of me that doesn't want to like you because you don't seem to gain weight when you're pregnant and you look just as cute when you're with child as when you're without. This isn't fair. I look like a normal girl when I'm not pregnant but look like Winnie the Pooh when I am. But--while we're talking about what's fair, it's not really fair to not like you for this reason so I've decided to just keep liking you while being a smidgen envious. How's that for fun?
ReplyDeleteI love shade camisoles, can't get dressed most days without one!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog awhile ago through the Clover Lane blog. She'd commented on how she loved your view on motherhood, and linked here. I've been following ever since!
ReplyDeleteI think I found your blog through Mrs. Dub. I've read your blog for so long that I can't remember. I love your parenting style. I could so use a maternity shade shirt. I'm 16 weeks along with #4 and I'm finding my old maternity clothes are a little worn out.
ReplyDeleteHi. You're cute and I like you. I don't even remember how I stumbled upon your blog it's been so long. You're amazing. The end.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog by google searching my due date/ may due dates kind of thing. I wanted to read about some other bloggy mommies who are due along with me. I'm at 35 weeks 5 days!
ReplyDeleteThat top is adorable!!
I think I found your blog through Lyndsay and the Johnsons and I have never heard of Shade but now that I am pregnant and know about it I will head on over to their site. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm six months along with our 3rd baby and I think you sold me. If i don't win this one, I'll have to buy a few of these.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how I found your blog. By "accident" I'm sure. My daughter has fell in love with it, too. She is expecting her first baby (our first grandbaby) in September. I would love to win this for her.
ReplyDeleteI have been reading your blog for about two years, and I love it!! I believe I found your blog through Regarding Annie or Nie Nie. Not quite sure, but I'm so glad I stumbled upon it!!! I just found out that I'm pregnant about a month ago, and I already bought four shade maternity shirts based on your glowing recommendations. :) I can certainly use one more!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember how long I've read your blog or how I found it, either. I just know it's been years, around the time Stella was born.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I am almost 10 weeks pregnant and my belly is already poking out, it's about time to break out maternity clothes! I end up with a HUGE watermelon belly on my tiny frame and the belly is hard to cover up. This shirt looks like it would actually do the job :-) I like the fitted style and it's feminine sleeves.
I stumbled onto your blog somehow and I love it. Full of inspiration! Thank you! My fav would be the camisoles. They are hard to find in maternity wear (around here anyways). You look fantastic! You're almost there!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
My fifth is on the way and it's priceless to find clothes that will take you all the way to the end while still feeling "comfortable". I have 8 weeks to go. I can't remember how I found your blog but I'm glad I did!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
I'll tell you something fun...you are so cute with your bump. I think this posts picture of you looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNow for the giveaway, I love shade swimming suits!

I was actually looking online today for some new maternity clothes and saw that shirt and loved it. I am also 10 weeks along and extremely excited to have a second child!
ReplyDeleteSomething fun...3 years ago when pregnant with our first child we were told we were having a girl (all THREE ultrasounds "said so") Well, our little Stella came out a little Liam! He is definitely a keeper so I wouldn't have it any other way, but I am hoping this one comes out a girl so we can finally use all those lovely pink clothes!
I can't remember how I found your blog and I don't even sew but I love checking in. You look adorable in your shade shirt and with baby boy #4 coming in about 6 weeks my poor pregnancy wardrobe could you use a cute shirt.
ReplyDeleteyour blog address was attached to an e-mail and it is a keeper! you are a keeper- even though we don't get to do trades anymore. you guys should head to lakeside this summer to cool off- we would love to have you. I was thinking of you when I swept some spiderwebs off my outside walls on one of our almost warm days! i don't plan on being pregnant again for another 2 years or so, but I could put this in the maternity box. In fact, i'll be sure to pick some up next pregnancy if I don't win.
ReplyDeleteI could take one their baby tees in every color- they look so comfy! And my baby bump from baby numero uno is big enough that I finally need to splurge on some maternity clothes.
ReplyDeleteA good friend of mine told me about your blog and I have been following ever since. I am planning on getting pregnant again soon so having this shirt would be wonderful! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI bought a few shade maternity things for my last pregnancy and they were oh so comfortable! They saved my pregnancy wardrobe woes.
ReplyDeleteI found you through The R House!! I went all the way back and reread many of your posts and there was one post with pictures of your house, fun paint colors and furniture that I loved! I LOVE your style so I kinda got stuck here! I added you to my favoites and whenever I get a house I will go back there and looks at the colors iny our house! You are more than welcome to do more posts like that!! :)
ReplyDeleteI think I found your blog through Nie Nie. My mom and I even made the maternity tunic from Presser Foot that you linked to. Its awesome! I am 21 weeks with baby #3 and between my sister and I, our maternity clothes have been through 5 pregnancies, with this one being the sixth. I need some new stuff!
ReplyDeleteI can't remember how I found your blog, but I've been following it for quite a while. So instead I'll tell you something fun...my sister and I are both pregnant, about 4 weeks apart! Needless to say, my mom is thrilled =)
ReplyDeleteGosh. I found your Blog from my cousin's blog (Mamasita). I had a few ruching tops from Motherhood when I was preggers with my son. I never had anything from Shade though. I am done! One girl and one boy. But I would Love to surprise my long distance friend who is pregnant with her second girl with this!! Pick Me!! :)
ReplyDeleteHi! I saw your blog link on someone else's blog (I can't even remember who it was now....), and I thought your title was hilarious and intriguing! I am pregnant and due in June, and enjoy reading about your life! Congrats on your upcoming arrival!
ReplyDeleteI think I found your blog through your sister's blog. You make me wish I were a seamstress.

ReplyDeleteI love good maternity tops, especially when they are able to be worn, and are still flattering, after baby arrives.
Hi. I love your blog! I think I must have linked to your blog off one of my friends. Not sure who now, I've been reading for about a year. :) I am expecting my fourth baby also, due this August. When you posted about a maternity sale at Shade a month or two ago, I got on and ordered three shirts-- they are the only ones I wear right now! Love them. Would love to have a fourth option :) Thanks for all your inspiring and delightful posts.
ReplyDeleteFun! I think I first found your blog through Laura S's, a long long time ago. And I've loved it ever since!
ReplyDeleteI think I found your blog through a spotlight Clover Lane hosted...
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your creativity & fresh outtake on Motherhood.
Although I have never been pregnant yet, I appreciate the Shade line for affordability, modesty, and sizing.
Definitely hard to come by nowadays, that can combine all 3.
Thanks for the giveaway chance! ♥
I saw the picture of you riding your bicycle with the baby on another website. Forgive me, I don't remember which site. I then discovered that we're both due around the same time, so I had to follow you. I'm due 2 - 3 weeks later.
ReplyDeleteBy the way - the top is adorable. I may be close to the end of my pregnancy, but I agree that the ruching may help camouflage the post-pregnancy tummy while I try to whittle it down.
You look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog via some cookies you made on NieNie's.
Still haven't made the cookies, but love your blog.
Best wishes.

ReplyDeletehere's my thought for you: if it had not been for you, i wouldn't have started a blog all those years ago - you did it first, shared with leslie who shared with me - oh the blog history we have! plus, you've cut my hair and how many other people can say that?!

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how I found your blog but I felt a connection as soon as you wrote: "well this is what 31 weeks looks like when you're short." I'm pregnant with my first and today when the grocery store guy helped me load my case lot sale items into my car he said: "Wow you must be due any day now!" Nope. 3 more months to go. :) haha anyway I love the shirt! My fingers are crossed!

hi, i think i found your blog from the cardigan empire site. happy wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI love that top. I need one for my growing belly too. I found your blog through nie nie.
ReplyDeleteThrough "the r house" a while back. I admire your "stay at home mom-ness" and how crafty you are!

ReplyDeleteI found your blog through Today's Creative Blog, then saw you again on Nie Nie. I love your blog because it makes me very excited to be a mother someday (hopefully soon, but in the near future at least:). I sometimes get wrapped up in other dreams for my life, but it's nice to remember how wonderful being a stay at home mom will be! It is my dream, and always has been! Thanks for the giveaway. I feel bad for entering because I'm not even pregnant, but I will be! :)

Hi there...
ReplyDeleteI also found your blog when researching how to hem jeans while keeping the original hemline. I have followed you ever since. It has probably been since about the time you got pregnant. :)
Love the shirt....sure could use it!
Thanks for the chance!
Raelyn
I can't remember how I found your blog--probably through someone else who mentioned it on THEIR blog... But I love Shade. And this shirt is fabulous. I can't believe I didn't get one (or one in each color!) when I was pregnant! We're planning on many more pregnancies, though, so I'm always looking out for fabulous maternity clothes!
ReplyDeleteSteph,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog by running into Schroder at some random basement mexican joint in down town salt lake city. Ha, ha.
But my favorite Shade item is their killer straight pencil skirts. They are my favorite thing to wear in the summer, easy to doll up for church or casual out for lazy summer days. They look good with boots. They look good with flip flops. They look good with flats. They look good with hills.
Skirts are a signature item for me and Shade makes the cutest!
You are a doll... good luck with the soon-to-be-here-baby countdown.
I found your blog through another blog that posted your mothering philosophy. I remember you riding a bike while your baby was in a sling. I thought, "I want to be that mom!" I've been following you for about a year now and you are still "that mom" I am/will be! You are just too cute! Thanks for the great example. :)
ReplyDeletexo, Andrea
I found you through your hemming-jeans tutorial. Short people of the world unite!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember how I found your blog, but I love all your sewing ideas and I'm so in love with the vintage dress you make with the gathered neck and sleeves. So cute!
ReplyDeleteAs far as Shade goes, I just ordered their Demi Cap Sleeve which I think will be one of my favorites. It helps with sleeve and neckline modesty without added the extra layer to your Torso. I'm excited to try it!
Hi Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteLiving in the same town, we might even know some of the same people!
My kids love Yodipity. They wanted me to tell you that.
Prayers for a healthy delivery and baby!
Amy & Family

ReplyDeletejust this weekend i began needing maternity clothes. nothing--and now, bam, my shirts are too short and i can't button up my pants. sweet.
This is what happens when you randomly click through blogs to get to more blogs and more blogs and end up at one that you absolutely LOVE and you can't even give credit where credit is due! When I find a new blog, I tend to want to start at the beginning and read until I reach present day....like reading a book. Unfortunately, I don't have all in the time in the world. haha
ReplyDeleteI also discovered Shade through your blog, so I have yet to order anything from them, but have a wish list!
Currently pregnant (due in July) and would LOVE to have this amazing tee!! I can see why you love it...the details are fabulous! I love the Shade maternity line. :)

JloMamaJama@aol.com
I found your blog about two years ago through my cousin-in-law Josie's blog. We recently had our first baby and you have inspired and motivated me as I've transitioned from working wife to stay-at-home mom. My little sister is pregnant now and I would love to give her a comfy shade shirt! (And then borrow it when I'm pregnant with baby #2!)
ReplyDeleteI can't remember how in the world I found your blog but I love it. I hemmed two pair of jeans today using your method. I am curious...did you figure it out by yourself or did you learn from someone else?
ReplyDeleteI would love a shade shirt. I don't have any with the gathered sleeves and I would LOVE one.
BTW, you make a very cute pregnant woman!

ReplyDeleteHi Stephanie,
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through my mom, who forwarded me your post on swaddling, just cause Stella was just too cute in it. I am now pregnant with my first baby, and actually giving birth (hopefully) in 2 1/2 weeks! But I love the Shade tanks and tees because you can wear them ALWAYS and with ANYTHING! I have not tried their maternity wear.
STINK! I can't remember how I found your blog. I have been a reader for awhile now;) I love all of your creative juices. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI can't remember how I got lucky enough to find your blog...Maybe though your sisters. or maybe I found her though you... I don't know! But I am glad I did... ReplyDelete
