I love linen.
I love how heavy it feels and how wrinkly it gets.
It is so classic.
I picked up a yard and a half of this lovely linen for half price last week.
On Sunday morning, I realized I didn't have a thing to wear to church.
Luckily our meetings don't start until 1:30.
It gave me just enough time to sew up this skirt.

ReplyDeleteyou are so tiny ... and crafty. (two things i am not.)
ReplyDeleteenvy.
It makes you look 11 feet tall. I am so jealous.
ReplyDeleteReally cute, I need to whip me up a few of those, unfortunately, I don't think it would just take me a Sunday morning to do...you're so talented!
ReplyDeleteWow! It's so pretty. I am so impressed with your sewing skills.
ReplyDeleteYour outfit looked so great on Sunday, your so gifted!I can wait to what you come up with next.
ReplyDeleteso so cute... i thought about sewing me up a quick skirt on saturday night, but opted against tearing my hair out that late at night.
ReplyDeleteI love that you just whip up an outfit...I'm hoping to start up my sewing again this summer...I want to make some cute summer dresses with all those brightly colored fabrics. Love the length of this skirt too...very cute : )
ReplyDeleteSo funny how nonchalant you are about the whole thing. :) hehe. Love it! You look great, too!
ReplyDeleteso lovely - i'm so jealous - both of your skills and your skirt.
ReplyDeleteI seriously want you to make me some clothes!
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing! Did you use a pattern?
ReplyDeleteno, charlotte, i didn't use a pattern. this skirt is very simple. it is basically just a rectangle at the top with an a-line shape attached to it. maybe i should do some sort of tutorial?
ReplyDeleteAre you serious? Impressive! I would love a tutorial if you're up for it. :)
ReplyDeleteIf you have the time I would love a tutorial. I have always wanted to sew me a skirt, but way to scared of tearing out my hair :)
