I love Mother's Day.

Oh, how I love these silly blue-eyed kids!

At our house, Mother's Day starts on Friday night. Isn't that the best idea you've ever heard? I had a good weekend. I renewed my dedication to motherhood. I reminded myself to be more patient and find more joy as I care for these sweet little people. I thought about how I am doing as a mother and what I can improve. I reflected on the wonderful examples of motherhood in my life. Mostly, though, I thought about my kids, and how lucky I am to be their mom. They make my job so easy.

I hope your weekend was just as nice.

  3. So glad your Mom's Day was a good one! Mine too! I know you hear it all of the time, but cherish every minute with them because before you know it they are grown and gone. Well, they come back and bring more people with them which is good, but they are like puppies..not little and cuddly forever :( !

    Your puppies are adorable!

  4. We had a busy but fun Mother's Day. My hubby is a pianist and had been asked to play at a local coffeehouse for their Mother's Day brunch from 9-12 in the morning. Then we visited his mom, then my mom. All my kids killed two birds with one stone and visited my Mom and me at the same time. Then I went home and watched the three hour finale of Celebrity Apprentice. Nice day.
