Now, if only my stuff would sell on ebay and Craigslist, I could go buy a message board for my new office {because some people (like Mike) don't think that is a necessity}.

Speaking of making something out of nothing. . .

Great innovation! By the way, I really like your flooring.
ReplyDeletenothing better than a shoe bench. well, maybe a new message board . . . i found some SUPER cheap cork "tiles" at the craft store. they're 4 for $2 or something like that. they're 12x12, just the size of scrapbook paper, so i just attached pretty paper and made a square on my wall with all four. looks better than it sounds. and cheap. for Mike. :)
ReplyDeleteps you should put links on your blog to your craigslist/ebay stuff. you know people would buy it if they knew it came from their favorite blogger! ;)
you have stuff on craigslist and ebay?? that is such an adorable picture! I love how you composed it.
ReplyDeletesteph, you have the best house. i can just imagine how cozy and peaceful and yummy-smelling it is all the time... i wish i were your neighbor so we could hang out and let the babies chew on shoes together (abe was doing that tonight--yuck).
ReplyDeleteIt's true...everything looks better red. Except skin.
ReplyDeleteI just bought a red sofa, and a red bookcase. They looks awesome...but not quite as awesome as that cute little shoe seat :)
looks great! so glad that oliver will allow himself to be photographed again! mom
ReplyDeleteYou are so crafty. I will pay you for your ideas!
ReplyDeleteAnd a message board is a necessity, especially with growing kids. I am looking for one, too.
we're craigslisting this week too. Did you see my ad in the free section? You would have had to have known it was me - it was for an "ABBIE" poster.
ReplyDeletewhen i first saw oliver i thought you made a time out spot. cute pillow.
ReplyDeleteYes... I was going to say that. You should link us to your stuff for sale. Very fun little bench.
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative- I love that little bench. I've been doing the e-bay thing too!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous. I need to start trying to make pillows and other such cute things.
ReplyDeleteside note: I love the color of your walls. And yes, everything does look better in red.
If you don't mind settling for chalkboard, you can tape off a section of your wall (or use scrap board) and use chalkboard spray paint. Then put ribbon around the edge--voila! Message board. Now I want a cute bench and basket for my red kitchen! :)
ReplyDeleteGood thinking-ours shoes are always in the way, and that is a very cute remedy.
ReplyDeletethat is awesome! I love making something new like that! It is more fun than just buying something that everyone else has! Funny I am not even sure how I got to your blog, but when I made a comment I realized I saw my sister Ginger's comment too. I am assuming you are in AZ like her. I thought you were here in AK with me. dang it! :)
