Oliver is singing songs on the couchwhile perusing the Mini Boden catalog.
(Have you seen their latest catalog? If I were made of money,
my kids would so be decked out in their super cute fall fashions.)
Mabel is playing computer games in our newly converted laundry/sewing/computer room.(Our old computer room is in the process of becoming Oliver's new room.)

ReplyDelete5 p.m. is the worst hour of day ... i'm always super hungry already, but just getting dinner started/entertaining Miss Dub. so i end up sampling what i'm making until i have no appetite for the actual meal.

ReplyDeleteand i think we ought to splurge and get audrey and mabel this dress. (it comes in pink AND dark teal)
Oh, how I wish for life when we waited around for Elliott to get home. We are now constantly getting homework done, having lessons (piano, chess club, and singing group), or getting ready for scouts or legos. Life gets so busy when your kids get older!
ReplyDeleteYesterday, I went to the park, and I even walked 15 minutes to get to one. It takes me 15 minutes to go like half a mile.
ReplyDeleteIt's a draggy part of day for us, too. I am usually trying to start picking up the house before Loi gets home and realizes I haven't done jack squat all day. :)

ReplyDeleteTuesdays are the worst for me too, because Jake doesn't get home til like 7:30. Sometimes we go on walks when the sun is setting (so its not too hot). You guys should hit the park.
ReplyDeletesometimes, i sit gracie in her highchair while i make dinner and turn on Friends in the background, just to have somethin on. otherwise, we are just doing nothing and being bored. that doesn't stop her from running laps around the house every 30 seconds.
ReplyDeleteI hate that 5:00 hour too. I don't know where you live, but here they have Curious George on public t.v. at 5:00p.m. It is the only way I can get my dinner made.
ReplyDeleteMini Boden does have the cutest stuff! I send the kids outside or downstairs while I finish getting dinner ready, and watch channel 3 news!
