So, in a room also known as the Laundry Room, and in a space that used to belong to the big freezer we inherited from the previous owners of our house, my dear, amazing husband has built me a perfectly level and very stable desk.
This is where the magic happens.
This is where the magic happens.
And every sink deserves a pretty skirt, even ugly utility ones.
Someday soon, I will paint the floor red.
Someday later we will move the washer and dryer into the Arizona room.
And we will build new cabinets.
And a double desk.
And then I can blog there, too.
And then my "Mom Office" will be complete.

ReplyDeleteThat's awesome Stephanie. I'd love to have a sewing/scrapbooking/craft room... Our extra rooms are being used for the den, "band" room (all the music instruments) and a guest room. I just love your taste. So classy. I hope to have a room for me in my next house!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. You have a wonderful husband to build you such a handy sewing area. Of course YOU are pretty talented girl.

ReplyDeleteOnce again, amazing! I am totally impressed.
ReplyDeletelooks great - i'm glad you don't have the freezer anymore - it will be a great office area for you when you need the room downstairs as a bedroom. so let the sewing begin! and let the magic begin with mike!! mom

ReplyDeleteThat room is so cute! What did you use for the little shelves? Is that ribbon on the one? That is a great idea, I need a way to organize ribbons. You are so productive!

ReplyDeleteThat looks terrific!!!! Recently, I have been brainstorming about where to set up something similar for myself in our home. (We currently live in a 1100 sq ft townhome, but I like an organizational challenge.)
I am in AZ, too! :)
