Is That Even the Same House?

    Oooo, I love black doors! Is it black on the inside too? If not, where did you end the paint? I want to paint our house so badly. Right now it is white and the trim is pea soup green, and faded at that. Blech!

    It looks amazing!!! But basically anything is better than the pink that was on there before. Now if you could only talk Mike into getting fake grass in the front, I think your house would be complete!

    I've been waiting for you to do this ever since you mentioned it. I want to do the same thing. Did you have to sand your old door? What kind of paint did you use?
    I love it!!! Now if only I can get it cleared with our HOA... I doubt it.

    i love it, and now that the door is black, it reminds me of those old ones in VP that we had. they had medallions like that, too. remember?

    some answers. . . we hired painters, so i'm not sure what kind of paint they used for the front door. i don't think they sanded it first. they primed it, then sprayed on the black. just the front of the door is black. the back is a dark stain. the siding looks a lot greener in real life. we love it.
