Burp Rags and Baby Blankets

With the imminent arrival of many new babies, I have been hard at work with my Bernina. Now I am all sewn out.

I can show these burp rags only because I know that this person doesn't check my blog. At least, I don't think she does. The rest of you pregnant ladies will have to wait until your respective baby showers or mailmen.

  1. Those are adorable! I remember my days of making receiving blankets and matching burp cloths... Maybe one day I will have the time and energy to do it again. I have sewed only one time since the beginning of my pregnancy... My poor Janome Elliott got me for my birthday is very lonely!

  4. not to sound like a broken record, but those little rags are fabulous! i can't believe how talented you are ... and so not aware of it. your seamstress skills make me foam at the mouth. (of course, i have rabies so that might explain it.) maybe one day i will be a lucky recipient of such beauties.

  5. okay... ditto, ditto, ditto! Would you be willing to divulge how you make them? I saw a blanket akin to this about a year and a half ago, and I still want to learn how to do it!
