weekend report

We went to a pumpkin patch on Saturday afternoon. The kids were too busy having fun and I was too busy sweating in my skinny jeans (Good grief, it was 90!) to take any of the cute pumpkin patch themed photos you see floating around the interweb this time of year. However, I did manage to snap that winner above. Stella and Elliot were about to go for a ride on the cow train. I think Mabel and Oliver were jumping on the big air pillow nearby. High class fun, I'll tell you what.

You know those people who are always out doing fun things as a family? We are not those people. We mostly stay home, so when we do things like visit a pumpkin patch AND go out to dinner together afterward, you know it's been a good day.

Also, the sunset was killer. How was your weekend?

  1. We went to the same farm on Saturday morning! I planned the entire day around getting there right when they opened at 9:00 so we could get one good hour in the cool air. My 6 year old, Spencer, was all about that air pillow. My 1 year old, Elliott, couldn't get enough of the big slide. It was a fun day!

  2. Beautiful kids and Beautiful sunset. We had a busys weekend. Great volleyball game at CU on Fri night and Sat at
4:00 went to a reception for the Hall of Fame event at CU and then delicious dinner and the football game. Sunday was a restful day and we stayed home and grampy and Bob .watched the baseball game.

    Love and Hugs

  3. Grant went to that same place 2 weekends ago with some cousins. I have a very similar picture of him. And yes, what's up with 90 degrees! I'm hoping the wind today will blow out the heat!

  4. Sounds like a big fun day. I love Mike's face. :)

  5. hanging out with family at home is what all the cool people are doing ;) (we totally do the same thing.)

Elliot looks like such a grown up boy in that picture!
