short hair


Here's something funny/sad: When I got home from the hairstylist last Saturday, Elliot said, "Mom, why did you cut your hair? It looks terrible."

I've forgiven him.

I've had short hair for most of my life. So going back to short hair wasn't scary. I was ready for a change. Mike totally misses my long hair, and someday I'll grow it out again for him. But for now, I'll happily sport this easy bob. I like to think of it as french gamine short, not middle aged mother short. It's all in the perception. Ha!

    The funny thing is... to me - that's long hair. My hair grows so slowly that I haven't had it cut in 2 years and it's just a little past my ears, so I'd love for it to be all the length of yours right now. :) No one in my family really can grow long hair - to our shoulders is considered long. Your new cut looks lovely as always.

    You look great! My little brother used to cry when my mom cut her hair...he still (at age 26) wants her to leave it the same! I think anything different is bad for some little cute sons. :)

    I'm still getting used to my short hair, I've always had long. It didn't help that most of the speakers at the Women's Meeting on Saturday had this same short cut. I was feeling like I had old lady hair, until I saw your IG feed and then another woman I know chopper her's short too. So- now I'm thinking, we are all avant garde and pretty soon short bobs will be all the rage.
