whatever we do, the sun will be shining

It feels like this is the first weekend in a long time that Mike and I don't have a long run on the schedule. Yippee! What a relief. Maybe we can work on our yard instead. It has been majorly neglected lately and I'm afraid it will never recover. We have lemons to pick, weeds to pull, and grass to mow. And so, so much more.

Or maybe we'll just lay around instead? Who knows! We can do whatever we want! That's what I love about the weekend.

Do you have anything fun planned? Maybe I can live vicariously through you.

Have a good one, friends.

  1. Looks wonderful and the thought of having grass to mow is actually inviting to me!! After the winter we've had here! But..... our good days are coming - it's going to be 50 here today which is like 90 to us right now and 60s early next week, so things are looking up for good ole' central Illinois. We still have giant mountains of snow where we've shoveled/plowed and I lamented to my husband that I believe these are going to be here through July....
    Have a nice weekend!

  3. I love the weekend! Even when we have chores and deep cleaning and yard work, there's something about doing it as a family that makes it so refreshing and rewarding.
