through thick and thin

This past weekend marked the fortieth anniversary of my parents' marriage. They've been through quite a bit together in all of those years, and I am grateful for their continued devotion to each other and to their children. Their love is a tangible thing.

I'm so glad we were able to celebrate together in Sundance. Love you guys!

Just missing Mike and Mabel, who was too sick to come to dinner that night.

  1. Thanks Steph - we spent Saturday reading letters we wrote to each other 42 years ago. A great day to celebrate our lives together.

  2. Great post Steph. You and your family have honored your Mom and Dad in numerous ways, I know they feel very blessed to have you and all of the joy you have brought to them. They are very special people and show their love in many ways. I am also blessed to have them as part of my life. Love you

We are so blessed and hope that our children can blog the same type of post about us someday as pioneers for our family. -Thank you for giving me a glimpse into what a family cna be like when you choose the right. - Lisa
