for health and strength

I never in a million years thought that I could run. But this 33 year old body of mine just finished it's first race! 6.2 miles of pure misery. Just kidding. Sort of. Oh, it was hard! And so many times I wondered what the heck I was doing. But of course I am glad that I did it. Sometimes it feels good to do hard things, you know? I am thankful for my health. My body is able to do all that I require of it, which is such an incredible blessing, and I am just so grateful.

Have a happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  3. You did it! I think it's so great that you and Mike ran that race together. I remember my parents running races together and I always thought it was so cool of them.

  8. it was hard because you were so speedy fast. I did the 2 miler with my kids and then ran a little 4 miler around the area. I was walking to the playground to meet my family and heard your name just after the 50 min mark. Good work.
