day seventeen: repaired

I don't get out much, I guess. Because all of my best clothes seem to come from my older sister. That includes this blouse, which happens to be one of my favorite things in my closet. She sent it to me at the beginning of the summer and it fit great. Then I stopped nursing my baby, and magically overnight it became quite a bit roomier in the front than it was before. I hate when that happens. So I haven't worn it since. Well, that is just plain ridiculous. It took all of about five minutes to take in the sides and now all feels right again.

I have a busy day ahead. Lots of laundry and packing and emotional preparation as I get ready to leave the country and my family for five days. But, I just heard from my parents who arrived in England yesterday, and they reported 60 degrees and rain. Heaven!

Ok, must get going. . .

  6. Even your grammy liked that top so much she got one too. Sounds crazy for an ole lady to wear some of the same styles has her granddaughters but they do look okay just not as cute as they are on them. Do love that blouse though and it lloks good with leggings because it is aslmst as long as a short dress.
Wish I was going to Eng with you but not to be. Take lots of pictures of Joojie and Toni. Know how you feel about leaving your family for 5 days. It was always so hard for me to leave my kiddos and husband even for a few days. You will be fine though and always glad to come home.
    Love you

  13. That outfit is super cute! It does look super warm too. Of course I'm sure you're not running around in the backyard wearing it. :) It will be fun when things cool off and we can bring out the other half of our wardrobes.
Can't wait to hear about your trip. Hope it's lots of fun.
