I turned 31 last week.

It just felt weird to type 31. I am totally an adult.

This blouse was my present to myself. Is it too frumpy? I can't decide. I am kind of a little bit in love with the blue linen. For my birthday, Mike took care of the kids and let me sew. And he made me a yummy frozen yogurt pie. And took me out to Japanese for lunch. And watched me try on jeans at the Gap that I didn't buy because Picky is my middle name. He built me a bench, too.

The kids cleaned the basement, almost without complaining.

It was a good birthday.

  1. :o) Tell me how you feel when you turn 46. That's what I'm turning this year and it's a very odd number to me. I can't believe this much time has passed, when inside I still feel the same as I did when I was 20.

I like the top - it's a lovely color and I have a similar dress with the ruffle that is really cute.

Looks like you had a wonderful day. Happy Birthday.

  8. you did have a nice birthday- you got to do what you like to do. The funny think is that you will never feel any older it is just that when you get as old as I am you body just doesn't do what you want it to do. Your brain still feels like you can-oh well!
Love you bunches and glad you had a nice birthday. I did wish you happy day on my blog.
    Hugs and and more hugs
