Elliot loves a good swaddle.

Don't tell me your baby doesn't, because I won't believe you.

Don't know how to swaddle? Here's my swaddling tutorial, starring baby Stella.

  1. Do you use Aden + Anais blankets? I really want to try their sleep sacks for this summer, since they seem breathable. How do you like it?

  2. I still can't figure out who he looks like the most... he's obviously a Court but I feel like every time I see him or a picture of him he looks like a different one of your kids. Dang cute though

  7. He looks so comfy! I swaddled both of my babies and it made them better babies for sure! I must say my mom didn't like it much though. She always said they were in too tight :)

  8. We're having our first boy (after two daughters) in two months and I am getting those great swaddling blankets you recommend. I love the tutorial too. We swaddled our first daughter for almost 8 months and know it was one of the reasons she was such a good sleeper.

Love your blog. Your baby is delicious! Makes me so excited for ours to come.

  9. Libby loved being swaddled for the first two weeks. She still likes being swaddled, but not tightly... very loosely... so her arms can get out if she decides they need to be out.

I love the look of a tightly swaddled baby.

  15. Eeeeee! So sweet! And for babies that bust out of even the tightest swaddle (like mine), I SWEAR by the miracle blanket:

  18. I agree totally about babies loving to be swaddled. Both my babies were swaddled. My daughter til she nearly 6mths and I swaddled my second bub (a boy) til he was nearly 11mths old and my goodness did he sleep so soundly! He LOVED it!
Snug as a bug in a rug I say :D
A nurse once told me that boys love to be swaddled longer than girls for some reason.

Thanks for sharing such a gorgeous pic of Elliot...he's so cute :)

Awww...I love the name Elliot. How adorable is that baby snug as a bug in a rug?! Geez.

PS...my kiddo hated being swaddled, believe it or not, after his first 24 hours he was done with it. The arms had to be out! Weird I know.

  20. I am so very pro-swaddling. In fact thinking about swaddling makes me want to have another baby.

Okay... I need to take a break from the internet, the last thing I need right now is to get pregnant. :)
