Is it too early to carve pumpkins?

Because I don't know what else to do with this.

Our pumpkin plant totally overtook our garden.
We won't make that mistake next year.

  1. Never too early for a 4th of July pumpkin! Insert sparkler and there you are.

  2. I love it! :-) I remember when I planted my Pumpkins too early and they were ready by the end of August - luckily, in a cool dark place, they kept until October. But from June to October... nah, go with the 4th of July pumpkin idea.

  4. My inlaws had the same thing happen, a summer pumpkin. I think they go theirs in June, but it might last until October... I think theirs lasted quite a while. You could puree it and bottle it and use it for pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread in the fall. I love pumpkin bread in the fall. If you are not into pumpkin bread and pumpkin pie then go ahead and puree it and bottle it and I'll take it off your hands!!! (After all the prep work is done naturally- am I lazy or what?)

  5. That is like the most perfect pumpkin I have ever seen. I would paint it white and display it. It would be so chic :)

  8. Maybe The Great Pumpkin is going around early this year!! I hope your pumpkin patch was very "sincere"!

I also love the patterns you found below! Stella deserves the most darling dress you can make for her! My daughter and I have been playing with the pattern paper dolls!

  10. Maybe some bowling?

    Pumpkin pie?

Do you have a neighbor you don't like? I know some mean pumpkin tricks from growing up around too many boys.
