This is the problem.
Stella has decided that she doesn't like her bed.
Or her swing. Or her bouncy chair. Or her carseat.
She only likes me.
I'm flattered, but that means I'm stuck. (and stinky.)
Oh well.
I guess I should live it up and go relax on the couch, or something.
(Honey, don't be surprised when you get home from work and I am still in my pajamas. As if this is the first time that's ever happened.)

it's nice to be needed by your kids, but sometimes you just need to not be needed. i'm having the same issues with miles . . .
ReplyDeletemmm, I remember those days... Dare I say how long I went one time without a shower? No, I won't tell you. Although I know I'm not the only one that went that long.
ReplyDeleteI wish we lived closer and I could come hold her for you...
My 6 month old has been going through the same thing for over a month now. It really stinks. My oldest is almost 5 so I don't remember this stage. I hope it passes soon for the sake of our sanity.
ReplyDeletei feel for you. bentley and i went through the same thing. as wonderful as it is to hold them, you can't help wishing for just a minute or two to get something done. :)
ReplyDeleteI found your blog off Flowerchain and really enjoy reading both blogs. You and your sister seem like amazing moms and more than that, people who are very happy to be moms. I love that. It is encouraging. I have a 7 week old who loves to cuddle also. She only likes to sleep on me, which would be wonderful, except I have a 16 month old who still needs a lot of attention.
ReplyDeleteOooh, bummer.
ReplyDeleteall you have to do is call me (tomorrow, preferably) and i'll hold her while you shower. i love her so much and would keep her all day if she took a bottle.
ReplyDeletethanks for letting me come over today. i missed you!!!
if my jammies were that cute, i would stay in them all day too.
ReplyDeletewe've all been there!
At least you have the cutest pj's ever! I vaugely remember those days where showers seem like a huge accomplishment, I know they are in my very near future...
ReplyDeleteYour pajamas are so cute! I'm going to try and stock up on cute PJ's for after our baby is born. Thanks for the inspiration! :)
ReplyDeletehey, if you gotta stay in jammies all day, at least they are cute ones, right? :D
ReplyDeletemy 3rd one was like that too. except instead of pj's my outfit was comfy workout clothes, that didn't match. good luck.
ReplyDeleteHi - I saw your blog as recommended on Google Reader. I just wanted to say that 3 of my 4 babies were just like that, and I just told myself over and over that I would never have to wonder if I held them enough. I don't have to wonder if I showered enough either . . . I definitely didn't!
