No, I am not dying. And no, I will not be jumping into a volcano, but I feel like I am losing my mind. I forget things. A lot. I am just going to assume that it is pregnancy related and try to move on.
But have you seen Joe Versus the Volcano? It's a classic.
hello...i can totally relate. when i was pregnant with dylan, i forgot Charlie at preschool! his teacher had to call me to remind me he was still there. when i got there, charlie kept saying, "you forgot me. you forgot me, mom."
It a normal part of pregnancy to forget things. The scientific explanation goes something like this- Brain needs iron to function it's best, baby takes a lot of the iron resources. Also baby is taking up a lot of the brains other things needed to function at it's best.
So yeah, blame it on the prgnancy, cause that is what is to blame. You are just fine.

Sorry, but I promise it will return:)
ReplyDeleteJoe Versus the Volcano is so funny. Except the only reason I remember it is because I saw an R-rated movie and lied that I saw it. How sad!
you have . . . a brain cloud.
ReplyDeletei'm so sorry. how about I ask you to take a picture of oliver and see if you can remember to do it.
i miss his dimples.
brain clouds are the worst. pregnancy is no help in that area. i think i lost half of my childhood in the 2 pregnancies i've sustained.

ReplyDeletei'm definitely blaming that one on the pregnancy.
