I'm about halfway thru Life of Pi and loving every sentence. After your review, I will pass.

I recommend "The Christmas Hope" by Donna VanLiere

Even if it's not Christmas, it is an inspiring book.

If you have a child in Kindergarten or 1st grade I recommend the Junie B. Jones Series. It is written in the thinking style of that age group. It is hilarious and my girls absolutely loved it when I read it to them.

Congrats on using nursing time to multi task.Klinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16814431399124793880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19629645.post-36531667714740908282008-01-02T22:04:00.000-07:002008-01-02T22:04:00.000-07:00I read Twilight while I was nursing, too! Here are some more book recommendations:

For Young Adult Lit, try Chasing Vermeer by Blue Balliet, or Ella Enchated by Gail Carson Levine (I admit I was Enchanted by this little book.

I loved Life of Pi by Yann Martel, Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, Wicked by Gregory Maguire, and The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd.

For something less heavy, but adult, I liked the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series by Alexander McCall Smith (they are not really typical "detective" stories, per say. It's a fun read.)

And for something altogether quirky, check out the Lemony Snickett "Series of Unfortunate Events" books. They are essentially for young adults, but he interlaces a level for adults that is really amusing.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12065953981036605876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19629645.post-13249111282125969202008-01-02T19:21:00.000-07:002008-01-02T19:21:00.000-07:00I was not convinced about Twilight, but I just fin...I was not convinced about Twilight, but I just finished it and thought it was a fun read.
