We also find that flat lacquer works really great for our projects. Depending on the size of the room, you could probably even use the spray can kind (super handy from Home Depot). I can ask Tyler what he suggests. I'm sure he knows just the right thing (we do all sorts of "sticky" finishes that NEVER dry on their own)... and waiting 2 weeks isn't it... you will have all kinds of smudges and junk stuck in by then! It looks great by the way =)Charlottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02405965448479860070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19629645.post-59573031049080207212007-08-25T09:38:00.000-07:002007-08-25T09:38:00.000-07:00Steph I asked your uncle Bob the painter and he su...Steph I asked your uncle Bob the painter and he suggested the polyutherane and said that should work and keep the paint from wearing off. You will probably need 2 or 3 coat or more. Do it in a WELL ventilated room and perhaps Mike should do it for you as you are pregnant. I works great and the paint will be smooth and not tacky. YOu might want to put a few coats of it on. I did this on a floor in my old home and it worked. You might want to reapply the poly about every 6 months. I hope this helpsmandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03090416750314072082noreply@blogger.com
