Have you ever made homemade brownies? I hadn't until a few weeks ago. And now I don't think I can ever go back to a mix again. Oh man, they are good. I've never made homemade brownies. But I don't make cakes from boxes anymore..... it's almost easier and YUMMIER to make them from scratch! If off sugar right now, but I'll def try the brownies when I can have a little treat in February.
ReplyDeleteyum! homemade brownies are surprisingly easy. I made them for the first time in ks and haven't gone back since. you are right they are soooo much better! And yes- we should go thrifting i will tell you my tricks. (which aren't too clever)
ReplyDeleteI have. I took a chocolate class years ago and the teacher shared her recipe that she used for catering. They are delicious and I make them a lot.
ReplyDeleteI never knew you could make brownies any other way than scratch until I went to college. My mom's recipe is still a bazillion times better than any box i've tried and almost easier too.
ReplyDeleteTrader Joe's mix comes close so I do keep that one on hand for "emergencies".
Butter, chocolate, flour, sugar, vanilla. Yum.
